We bought a bed off of Lee 8 years ago and have just been in for an upgrade to an Embleford Zip and Link Divan Set and headboards.  It is so fantastic to have this level of service from a local business, and one that has been owned by the same person for 30 years, how often do you get that these days?!  I can't praise Lee enough for the effort he puts in to every detail, from getting the mattress right for us, the fabrics, the speed of ordering to delivery (NEXT WEEK!), and then the setting up of the new one and taking the old one away.  He even told us not to struggle if any cabinets need moving as his delivery team will do it all!  Faultless from start to finish.

We just wanted to let you know how delighted we are with our new mattresses (1 x Double Geneva Mattress & 2 x Singles) and even more so with your service overall.  From browsing in your shop on Thursday lunchtime, to the mattresses being delivered and old ones disposed of for free the following day at 9.15 a.m. our expectations were exceeded.

ETA from Purchase to delivery 5-6 weeks arrived within 4 weeks Delivered to my door, took old bed away with no fuss, not one drama from first phone call to me building the bed, the  bed is quality and well packed from manufacture ensuring do damage on route, well worth the money, had great advise from Sam when ordering as we talked on the phone while looking at website due to Covid, i could no go to Showroom in Cowes! Sorry I am late leaving my review.  I have ordered two beds at different times from this company and each time the service has always been excellent.  The second bed was incorrectly labelled by the manufacturer but Sam wanted no time in organising a replacement.  Despite lockdown and the difficulties these small business face we have to admire their efforts in continuing to provide us with friendly, helpful and “nothing too much trouble” attitude.  Good luck to all the team.  Would not hesitate in recommending that customers try Beds R Us first.

Just wanted to thank you for your help ensuring that our bed was delivered yesterday - both in terms of chasing up the mattress and the actual delivery of the bed and mattress to the house. Really impressed with the service.  The bed itself was surprisingly easy to assemble (even doing it single handed) and looks really good in the room. I think the low level design and the white colour help to create the illusion of the room having more space which is really handy in such a small room! The mattress was really comfortable, so much so that we didn't really feel we were in a strange bed at all and we got a great night's sleep.
We can now push on with finishing the rest of the house and so we'll be back to see you again in the new year (hopefully with no further lockdowns) to discuss a bed for the second bedroom.

I could not recommend Beds R Us any higher!!! Absolutely brilliant service and excellent product. Sam was so helpful when choosing the right bed and delivered after 5pm for me, he put the bed together and took away all the packaging and old bed.  He even took the headboard to donate to The Storeroom for me.  My Aunty had a really good nights sleep - so thank you Sam!!

I have just finished assembling a single bed and set of bunk beds for our grandchildren  from Beds R Us.
Top quality product and service. The instructions were clear and concise, all parts were marked appropriately and fittings clearly marked in separate bags. ( with no screws left over or missing at the end). They are extremely sturdy and I expect them to last for a long time.
A special thanks to the younger lady who helped us on our first visit and her great grandson, who delivered the beds.

I got a same day service and completely agree with the previous reviewer.  The owner, Lee, was considerate, helpful, and kind. He took my order over the phone at midday and by three pm my guest bedroom had a new bed and mattress in place and my previous rickety day bed completely removed at no extra cost. He assembled it himself in no time and I cannot praise his work highly enough. First class.the best of the best!

4 years ago I recently bought a double bed; absolutely fantastic service. Not only did they bring the bed, they removed and disposed of my old one and put the new one up. When I realised my old mattress didn't fit, they went back to the shop to get me a new one, so I would have a bed.
Really excellent, excellent service with a true personal touch - completely in contrast to most other companies. Helpful, efficient and couldn't do more to help. I wont be going anywhere else for my beds from now on and can't recommend enough!

After being let down by dreams in Newport I cancelled my order and went to these guys. Gave me a good deal and delivered within an hour of my purchase. Great service. I saw Sam in the shop, was given plenty of time to try out any mattresses I chose, then ordered. Sam and his lovely  assistant delivered my mattress a few days later.  My stairs are steep an quite narrow but this was no problem for them. They took away the packaging and my old mattress. My new mattress is very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Beds'r'Us as a great local business with excellent customer service.

As the wooden bed frame which I purchased from Beds 'r' us 18 years ago was still going strong, it was my first choice for a new mattress. I wasn't disappointed. Fabulous service. No pressure to buy or to spend over your budget. Great product knowledge to help you choose the right one for you. Same day/ next day delivery into position (not just to the front door!) and disposal of old mattress should you so wish. A pain free experience and a now pain free night's sleep. Thank you guys. What a wonderful company led by the delightful Lee.  I bought a double mattress and was so pleased with it went on to buy two single mattresses for the spare room.  I cannot recommend Beds'r'us more highly.  No pushy sales, no being rushed, instead a wealth of knowledge and courteous service, plus free prompt delivery and free disposal of old mattresses.  Thank you so much Lee, and Sam too, for everything.  I am telling everyone the same thing - 'DO NOT EVEN THINK OF GOING ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE ISLAND FOR YOUR NEW BED!'

I would say to anybody thinking of buying a bed on the Island, check out trading standards as the firm I complained about are NOT listed, UNLIKE Beds 'r' Us in Cowes, who are REGISTERED WITH TRADING STANDARDS BECAUSE THEY ARE A RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, REPUTABLE FIRM WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I wont be making that mistake ever again.

An absolutely brilliant service from Lee and the team. My clients had complained that the mattresses provided were uncomfortable but unfortunately it was a Saturday evening. I wanted to replace them as soon as possible to ensure that they enjoyed their stay. I tried the big nationals on Sunday and none of them could help with anything before the end of their stay. Although Beds r' Us was shut on a Sunday I sent my details and problem via the website hoping that they would pick it up on Monday. I was absolutely amazed that Lee took the time to respond on Sunday and make arrangements for a delivery on Tuesday. Lee's nan took the payment details on the Monday and the problem was solved - Lee even agreed that he would ensure that when he replaced the mattress, the bedding was put back as he found it so as not to cause inconvenience.
Thank you all very much indeed for a fantastic 5* service above and beyond anything you would usually get - an independent trader that certainly deserves to thrive and in my experience, highly recommended.

I echo all the great comments. My journey started at the outlet in Cowes where I was greeted by Remi (Lee's daughter), there was no pressure only a reassuring comment of yes please look around. Seconds later I unfolded my story of how our bed had been broken and how desperate we were for a new bed. There was no intake of breath only when did I want my chosen bed delivered as it was in stock. A quick call to her dad and he confirmed it would be there tomorrow. My next plea was as it was holiday accommodation I had no tools with me to dismantle or reassemble a bed. No problem.
Remi was a fantastic and a very helpful friendly person. 
Lee arrived prompt the very next day and took little to no time at all to have us back in the land of the living with a lovely new assembled bed and the old one in the back of his van.
At last a great nights sleep.
A BIG thank you to Lee and Remi for all that they have done.
I certainly will recommend this company to all our friends should ever they have any bed trouble on the Island.

Couldn't have been happier with the service & consideration from Lee, the owner of Beds; r' Us. We arrived at the store & were given all the info that we needed but weren't pushed in any way, allowed the time to try the beds & find the one that best suited us. 
Once decided on the bed, all the arrangements for delivery & disposal of our old bed were done to times that best suited us. Delivery was a breeze for us, not for Lee & his father, was an extremely hot day! We were so glad we bought locally rather than the bigger dealers, excellent service in all ways.

Phoned and was greeted warmly and very helpfully and so ordered at 10.15am, and beds arrived 2 hours later.   Lee, on his day off, delivered and installed the 3 beds and took away the wrappings.  Incredible service.  Shop local!!

They truly know what service excellence is! We walked in, were shown various options by Remi (Director) who was incredibly helpful. Only 1 of the mattresses we wanted were available - not only did she sort an additional one out for us however at our request (which we did not think possible!) Remi also arranged with her father (owner/director) to deliver the same day for us! It is really great that this family run business is flexible & happy to work WITH their customers.

Service is second to none! We got 4 kingsize beds and a bunk bed from bedrus for our holiday home. Bedrus prices are competative and Lee managed a quick turnaround time but what sets it apart is the service. The beds were delivered, installed and ready for use in no time at all by one or another of the bedrus family (actual family!) and i absolutely know that i can be in touch at any time if i have a problem (or even for a good recommendation for sunday lunch!!), its a personal service not a faceless customer service department. This is the place for beds and mattresses no question !   We tried all the major places, sat on beds, looked at the 'sale' prices.  Then we came to bedsRus and found better quality at lower prices.  We were in the shop at 3pm - the bed and mattress we chose were delivered that evening to back of Wight.  Unbelievable service.  Thank you - and keep it up !

I needed a new bed, and found Beds r Us, by looking on the internet. I ordered the bed I wanted, when Lee came to deliver it and put it together, I was amazed at the friendly, helpful service he showed me. 
I don't know from where else you would get the same brilliant service.
As Lee was leaving he noticed I had a box of rubbish by the door waiting for me to put out.
He asked if I would like him to get rid of it for me.
I will definitely tell people about Beds r Us and what a fantastic friendly service you get from them.

Needed a bed, decided to try Beds "r" Us and so glad we did. Bought the bed on Saturday and by 10 am on Monday the bed was already delivered and set up in the bedroom. Amazingly good service, will definitely buy from them again. Thank you for the friendly professional service

Awesome shop, superb service, genuinely highly recommended! Turned up couple of days before christmas, wanted a last minute bed for guest coming down to stay, arrived at 3pm thinking there was no way they would have a suitable bed or still be open, no only did they have very reasonable mattresses in stock but to aid me my last minute scrambles let me have a brand new shop display model so I could get the bed then and there at a very reasonable price. When I enquired if delivery was possible, the lovely lady in charge rang her son, turned to me and said within the next hour? Where can you get service that good? Amazing! I paid got in my car, he beat me to my own home and was waiting for me on my drive with my lovely new bed, cannot praise this store enough, if you need a decent bed do not go anywhere else, the true spirit of the good old school island is alive and well here!

Also met most of the family ordered our mattress starting with a 5' then decided on a 6' sent more than intended originally because of the increased size. Service exceptional mattress so comfy . Needed a mattress so we could sleep in the house we are renovating. Phoned and spoke to a lovely lady & explained we were on our way but Sat Nav said we would arrive just as shop closed. Lady said she would stay open for us & not to rush. Arrived, bought mattress & bed frame and had a lovely sleep last night. Thank you for excellent customer service.

Many firms claim to be family firms, but this one really is! On our first visit we met mum, nice lady, on our return visit having gone to every other bed shop on the IOW we met grandma, another lovely lady! When our new mattress was delivered we met the owner and his dad. We are very pleased with our new mattress thanks very much. Top tip when shopping for a new bed or mattress ask what they charge for delivery and disposal of your old item, we where quoted between £25 and £39 for delivery and some would not remove the old mattress, have you ever tried getting a mattress in your car?

I recently needed to purchase a new bed frame and mattress, after visiting other shops and researching on line decided to visit Beds r Us. I would recommend a look if you need the same, only a one week wait for delivery, Lee dismantled the old bed and took it away and had the new one up and ready in a jiffy. What a wonderful and reassuring firm to deal with. We are moving to the Island and made an enquiry about delivery dates. Within the same afternoon Lee came back sorted out all the problems guided me through the choices and I put the phone down absolutely purring to my wife about the warm helpful conversation and Succesful purchase I had just made. After a life time in London I thought this type of friendly "It's about the Customers attitude" was something only left in black and white films. I wouldn't Dream of going anywhere else for Beds now.

Being new to the island we could only go on what other people said .............. and were they right! Professional from start to finish. Lee, dad and nan couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We needed a double bed taken from our bedroom to put in another so that the new one could go in. We can't praise Beds R us enough, thier service is second to none as is the quality of the beds and mattresses. We have bought guest beds for our students who have commented on the good nights sleep they have had. We have bought the 6'6'' zip singles for ourselves. Thanks Lee, so much nicer for the guests to sleep on a proper bed rather than a futon. (Sorry futon lovers).

We both had really aching backs & went into Beds r us but we really didn't know which mattress was right for us. Lee was great at explaining all the bed & mattress types, we'd paid a lot of money for a mattress from a national store which we found so uncomfortable to sleep on. With advice from Lee we decided on the Regatta mattress, then my husband suggested a new bed frame too (yay). We went for the Rochester Mink Velvet. Lee kept us informed about stock levels & delivery. Now we are sleeping soundly. We both love the new bed and are back aches have disappeared! Great bed & great service.

We cannot believe the high quality of the New Bern 3 drawer 3 door sideboard we ordered from Lee last week, ordered at the shop on Monday 9th and delivered from the factory direct on Monday 14th! Lee, his gran and brother all where extremely helpful - and came to our assistance. We urgently had to get a bed for my husband mother who was in a new nursing home on the island. She had fallen out of the single bed provided. They let us buy a double bed they had in the shop and a mattress from stock. Delivery was quick and free (the next generation even came to the nursing home to help assemble it.) You will be glad to here she has never fallen out of bed again and the bed looks lovely in her room. Thanks again for kind and flexible service.

After deciding a new bed was needed, my partner and I visited Beds ‘r’ Us where we met Lee’s grandmother who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their various beds held in stock which gave us lots to think about. After finally making our decision, we made a second visit to the shop and after trying out the two beds we liked, placed our order with Lee. He told us that the bed would arrive on the Tuesday afternoon of the following week, and sure enough it was delivered by his brother Terry and young female assistant at the prearranged time. The whole procedure from first chatting with Lee’s grandmother, to the ordering and receiving of the bed was such a smooth operation run by an extremely caring and professional family business, who we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone requiring not only a new bed but fantastic service.

I bought my bed about 3 years ago from Lee at Beds 'r' Us and was very pleased with the service i received. i have just recently moved house and my bed frame got damaged in the move, i was so upset. I phoned Lee at the shop and asked him if i was able to get a replacement frame. Lee came to my house to have a look at the bed, took photo's and then called me the next day to inform me he had found me a replacement frame and had ordered it for me, with just a delivery cost! I cannot thank him enough for all his help in doing this for me as i love my bed that i purchased from him and really couldn't afford to buy a new one. I would like to say a big huge thank you again Lee, your customer service excels any other. I would always recommend Beds'r'Us to family, friends and work colleagues. Fabulous shop, fabulous service!

I popped into the shop to see about a mattress for my 8 year old's bed. Lee recommended the Memory 20, which suited the job and my budget, and my daughter loves going to bed in her "posh" mattress (memory foam!). I was further impressed when it was delivered that same afternoon! Customer service is excellent, and Lee knows his stock, of which there is a lot considering the size of his shop!

Having tried Dreams (dis-interested)and Wakes (completely useless and unable to calculate discounts)luckily a friends suggested Beds 'r' Us. We were helped with our purchase by Lee's wonderful Grandmother who was charming and helpful as was Lee when I had to postpone delivery to my new house. Thank you to both of you for maintaining such a high standard in an industry often maligned.

I ordered a 5' divan base from Lee. What amazing service! delivered from factory to my door in 5 days-3 weeks quicker and £40 cheaper than all the other stores on the island! Thank you so much.

Great item and great service. I purchased the Pavo bunk beds and these arrived very quickly and whilst theer was a mix-up on delivery dates Lee was brilliant. He dismantled the old bed and put the boxes upstairs ready for construction. I can't fault the friendly and excellent service and will definitely shop here again and recommend this retailer to others....old style service with a smile. many thanks

I have just purchased a 'Windsor' adjustable memory foam/pocket sprung bed from Lee & can now spend a whole night in my bed for the first time as for the last 9 months I have been sleeping in a reclining chair because of arthritis in my spine. I wish I had bought one earlier! The service was excellent & Lee even assembled my bed & showed me how it all worked. Many Thanks, Jeanette
